Great News Radio celebrated ten years of broadcasting on April 7, 2006. Nearly 1,000 people attended this gala event, held in Savoy, Illinois. The Mayors of Champaign, St Joseph, Fisher and Savoy each signed a City Proclamation making April 7th Great News Radio Day. Congressman Tim Johnson presented an official Congressional Statement recognizing Great News Radio’s achievements and positive community service.
